ShadeUp Leads ("ShadeUp," "we," "us," or "our") operates shadeupleads.com. We connect homeowners seeking awning and shade structure installation with pre-screened local contractors. Our registered business address and contact information are available upon request at support@shadeupleads.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you fill out a quote request form or contractor signup form. This includes your name, email address, phone number, service address, project description, and business information (for contractors). We also collect standard web analytics data — pages visited, time on site, referring URL, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address — through cookies and similar tracking technologies.

3. How we use your information

Homeowner inquiries are used to match you with a pre-screened local contractor and to follow up on your project request. Contractor information is used to create and manage your ShadeUp account, deliver leads, and communicate about your subscription. Analytics data is used to improve the site and our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Information sharing

When you submit a homeowner quote request, your contact information and project details are shared with the single contractor we match you with in your market. Contractor subscriber information is shared with our payment processor (Stripe) to manage billing. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating our platform, all of whom are contractually required to keep your information confidential.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to maintain session state, analyze traffic, and improve the site experience. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly as a result. We use Google Analytics (or equivalent) for aggregate traffic analysis; this service may set its own cookies subject to Google's privacy policy.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our service and comply with legal obligations. Homeowner inquiry data is retained for up to 24 months. Contractor account data is retained for the duration of the account and for a reasonable period after cancellation. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit. We do not store payment card numbers — all billing is processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
